The other day, I was driving on the highway when my car would sort of give. It wouldn't accelerate, and started to decelerate. We pulled off the highway as it shuddered, and soon died at an idle. The car turned back on, we heard a sort of marble-sound in the engine, and we drove it a little while (about 2 min.) Before it gave out on us again, and died in idle. We pulled to side. It recently has been shipped across America on a truck. Could this have caused anything? From sitting for a week? Also, the air conditioner was just replaced about two months earlier. It has a recent tune-up, and the fuel filter has just been replaced by the mechanics. The car registers no computer signal, but continues to eventually give/ eventually die (especially at high speeds or after driven at high speeds). Please help.

no comp signal? Do you mean no check engine light? When it dies does it always restart? Does it start right away? Need to know what it is losing when it dies, spark or fuel pressure. If it doesnt start right back up, need to test for these two things when it is dead

My response to technician:

There as no check engine light, and the car doesn't register anything wrong with it (with the mechanics. Who are baffled). The car DOES restart right away. It may last one hour, may last for three minutes of drive time before decelerating, shuddering and then dying at idle. It feels like a fuel issue. Like, it's dying from no gas.

IF fuel pressure is in question, a gauge can be hooked up and run to the windsheild to monitor it when the stalling occurs.

I have seen pcv valve issues with these that can cause a stalling-cheap to replace. Also check for the pcv hose for any signs of being collasped.

IF all is okay from above, next focus on the IAC motor for testing.
