2001 Ford Focus My 2001 Ford Focus Shakes

My 2001 Ford Focus recently has been shaking a lot everytime I drive it. It has 104000 miles on it and when I start my car it shakes and continues to shake while im driving it. I bought the car from a private owner about 2 months ago and it was MD inspected. It just recently started making the shaking noise. Any help would be great. Thanks!

It sounds like the engine is misfiring. I would expect the check engine light to be on because of it. If so the first step is to have to code read that would be stored and they will get you pointed in the right direction.
