Engine Mechanical problem

Hi! My car (ford fiesta 98) stalled. Tried restarting it and it would not start. Tried jumpstarting it with no luck. Checked the battery water and it was empty. i refilled and tried jumpstarting again, it went further in the starting process but still would not start. the car has fuel. wat could the problem be?
