1993 Ford Fiesta 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I am a student and I have a Ford Fiesta but it has started to lose power when I change from 1st to sceocnd and from second to thirds - my Dad is in the Army and away at the moment and I dont know what to do !
