Im thinking of buying-seller has Festiva with engine seller rebuilt himself and a purchased rebulit head.
Starts, will not stay running. Can keep it running by furiously pumping gas pedal. Lopes bad.Turning distributor CW/CCW helps hardly at all. Spot in center of distributor travel is better, but still dies and lopes bad. QUESTION: Is timing 180 degrees out or off a tooth. No backfire, just lopes while pumping pedal and dies when let off pedal. If this is easy timing fix, i will buy and fix as price is right.
