2001 Ford F350 Rear Axle Noise/pops
Shakes or Wobbles problem
2001 Ford F350 V8 Four Wheel Drive 88000 miles
F350 4x4 Dual real wheels - 4:10 axle with traction lok. When I turn sharp in 1st gear (auto trans) feel vibration and hear clicking/popping/ringing sound from rear wheels (both sides). This is in forward or reverse. Stops as I speed up to 5-7 mph. Only happens when going very slow and turning right or left. Bought this truck yesterday and did not notice this until I got home. Thanks, Alex

Change the rear end oil and add the friction modifier additive, this will lubricate the clutch packs in the axle, eliminating the popping...
