How do I get my old inline fuel filter off? It is a canister type where the fuel line (with some kind of metal end) slides over the inlet stem on the fuel filter and is held in place by a clamp. I have the clamp off, but the line won't budge. Do I just force it off? On the fuel filter stem there is a little rib around the stem about half way; down it.

I'm having the same problem with my 97. I think that I read somewhere else that on the 93s you need a special tool, but I don't know if that is for the 350s or for the 150s. I've been trying to force it off for 20 minutes and it won't budge. Good luck!
