I bought a complete new rear end in 10/2007 the shop gave me a 1 yr. warranty. Since then, I've taken it back 6 times for warranty repairs. I recently replaced the carrier bearing, and 2 u-joints. About 2 days after installing the new parts I noticed the differential leaking alot at the pinion area, and I could move the axle up, and down. When I took it back to the transmission shop, they said they wouldn't cover the repairs on the differential because I put in those new parts. Installing u-joints and a carrier bearing shouldn't have caused damage to the differential right?. Is'nt it more likely the crush sleeve wasn't adjusted correctly when the differential was installed?.
