I have a 1993 Ford F250. The windshield wipers come on by themself, I turn the switch to on then back to off to make them quit. This does not always work. The wipers always turn on when I need them though. I have changed the switch and checked the wires for a short and cannot find any. Do I need to change the motor or is there a module in this truck?

It could be the wiper rest contacts. It is where the wipers go to a rest position when shut off. If the contacts are burnt or making a bad contact the wipers will come on until it makes contact for the wipers to go back to the rest position. The contacts are on the wiper motor.
