Ford F 250
Lariate Super Cab 4x4 7.3 liter
2003
101,000 miles
I am having trouble getting the truck started. It seems as if the cranking battery is too weak to start. The truck has 2 batteries. How do I tell which of the 2 is the cranking battery or is it both??

Thx

BOTH BATTERIES ARE USED IN CRANKING THE ENGINE, AS THEY ARE WIRED IN PARALLEL.YOU NEED TO FULLY CHARGE EACH BATTERY AND LOAD TEST SEPARATELY. MAKING SURE THAT ALL BATTERY CABLES AND CONNECTIONS ARE CLEAN AND TIGHT, CHECK THE STARTER DRAW WHEN CRANKING. YOU MAY NEED TO GO TO A MECHANIC FOR THESE TESTS.
