I own a 2003 f250 diesel 6.0, it will start when cold, but when its warm or say I have it running for awhile and then shut it off and retry to start it, it will not start. I have to wait for 8 hours and then it will start again, I have kept up on the oil changes, fuel filters and ect. I just started to have this problem. I live in Va and it gets cold out...is it time for a new truck???

No start condition:Do below immediately

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard.
