I own a 1999 Ford Ranger 4 x 4, Automatic, 250,000 km. Does anyone know how to convert from vaccuum assist four wheel drive to manual lock in hubs?

I have a 98 Ranger with the same set up. The vaccum tubes out at the wheels have a rubber to metal tube connection. These tubes corrode and can be cleaned up and reattached. This happened a few times so far. IF you are haveing a problem.

These Rangers can't be convertered as I understand it. But if you get driveshafts from a 96 explorer, you can convert tehm as I understand. I have'nt done this myself however.
