1994 f250 4x4 460 auto, re-built motor with 20K, engine ran ok & one day it would not start, was trying to fire (dieseling when key was turned to the off position), but not starting. Changed the timing and it started right up. Drove it around for 20 minutes and it started to mis-fire & stalled. Moved the timing to the original position & it started (after couple hrs sitting). Ran ok for 100 miles (3 weeks) and now it doesn’t start. Changed the timing again but won’t start. Note: the TFI is mounted on the fender, not on the distributor. Fuel pump is running & tried switching tanks, getting spark to plugs

Check the actual fuel pressure. You're getting spark. Try this shoot some carb cleaner in the throttle body-see whether it'll fire up-I need to know this, also try to listen to the injector/s while cranking it over-do you hear it clicking?

You could also check the TFI/coil primary and secondary resistances
