I have a 1991 Ford F250 Extended Cab XL, 115647 mile with 5.8 Liter engine.
I had it in yesterday for normal service and was told that I had a Valve Cover leaking oil and a Rear Main Seal also leaking. I must have repairs done by and auto shop because were I live will not allow repair work to be done on any vehicles. Can you give me an approximate Estimate of what a Ford Dealer would charge for these repairs and what I might be charged by a non-dealer repair shop?
I would like a time estimated to complete both repairs also.
