When I start my truck on a warm day the truck will start fine, but will idle at around 500 rpm and surge slightly. when you give it gas the rpm will settle back around 900 rpm. But when you give it any more gas the rpm will dip quickly and then go up properly. This is a minor problem but I'm not sure if this is the same reason why the truck wont start at all when it is cold out. it doesnt need to be below freezing. It can be around 40 and the truck will turn over but wont fire. I think it may be a faulty idle air control valve, but I'm not sure. s this an IAC valve problem?
