1991 Ford F-250 map sensor

What would cause a map sensor to go bad? I put a new one in on nov. 20 and before that probably three months prior

Map sensors usually do not go bad. Usually it is a rough running condition that sets the map code but it is not actually the problem. * A engine misfire will set a map code. Hope this helps
