how to chech if the turbo in a F250 is working?

The turbo is run off of exhaust so leaks in the manifolds and at the cross overs pipes can cause poor preformance. If the truck is not getting enough fuel it can feel like the turbo is not working but it can't get power. Asides from spining it to make sure it hasn't had an internal fail. The turbo will always be working. Check the warm up valve underneath make sure it moves freely and doesn't stick in any spots
