I have a 1996 Ford E150 5.8 engine with 146,000 miles.

Reccently when driving more than 15 minutes the tempature gauge would go to hot.

There is no fluid leaking anywhere. Replaced the thermostat and radiator cap. Radiator is less than 1 year old. No noise from the water pump.

Rebuilt transmission about 5 months ago.

Could this still be the water pump or some kind of a sensor?
