I have a 2004 ford f150 supercrew 5.4 triton automatic transmission, 4x4 with 46000 miles.
The cruise has always been slow to react compared to all other vehicles I have owned. For example with cruise set at 45 MPH when I go downhill and then start back uphill the speed will drop to 39 or 40 MPH before the cruise will kick back in and take me back to the preset 45 MPH. Any clue to the problem ? or is that the nature of the beast.

Thanks , Butch

You use cruise control at 45 mph? You lazy person you..... just kidding.

I think that's just how it goes. It doesn't wanna accelerate too much and use up gas and it doesn't wanna drop down too low. Does it only do this going up hills? Cause that's just normal.
