I have a 1996 Ford Winstar GL 150,000kms 3.8L engine.
My car runs perfectly fine when cold, but as soon as I've been driving it for a short time it starts to run rough. It keep stalling on me and feels like it has no power at all. I've replaced the plugs and wires and the problem hasn't gone away.
Any suggestion on what might be causing the problem?

My 1993 f-150 is doing the same thing, runs like a champ, then once warmed up it stalls out. Here is what I have changed: Fuel pump, Fuel pressure regulator, Fuel filter, Ignition coil, Ignition module, Plugs, Wires, Cap and Rotor. Nothing has worked, somedays it will run all day for days then others five miles is all I get. One thing I have noticed is that it runs best in the mornings with the temp around 50's and stalls out above 60. Sorry I couldn't help, but what I have changed hasn't helped so don't jump right into changing them too. I am about ready for a mechanic shop to suck my money out of me.

Is this the original motor? This is an "timebomb" kind of motor, and it only fit this year. Any signs of oil pressure loss?

Fuel pump, Fuel pressure regulator, Fuel filter, Ignition coil, Ignition module, Plugs, Wires, Cap and Rotor changed? And that didn't suck out your money? A profesional diagnosis would have been considerably better spent $ wouldn't have?

Did the inertia switch fix it?
