Noises problem
Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles

I recently added 3/4 of a tank of Ethanol to my unleaded fuel tank. Immediately after I noticed a sound and slight vibration. What can I do to prevent this from doing serious damage to my truck? Will this problem go away by adding in unleaded gas slowly to the tank of mixed fuel? The Engine is a 4.6L and the Mileage is in kms. Thank you for any help you can provide.

What year is the truck? Is it designed to run ethanol? It should clean itself up after that fuel is gone. Don't expect good fuel economy. And yes, I would add regular fuel when as the tank gets low enough to do it.

The truck is a 2003. It is not designed to run on Ethanol. Thank you for the information. Have a great day.

You may want to consider draining it if the truck isn't designed for it.

from what i`ve read it shouldn`t hurt but i wouldn`t do it again. unless your vehicle says flex fuel it isn`t made to run ethanol. most stations have 10% added but i`m told it won`t hurt.
