Coolant smell coming from a/c

I have noticed a coolant smell coming from my 1999 Ford f150. Also on humid days I see a light fog coming from the a/c vents. It has the 4.6 v8

New to the forum, but use to be a mechanic. Usually a heater core that causes the coolant smell in the cabin + the fog issue. You can check this yourself with just a little effort.

From the passenger's side, get down where you can look up under the dashboard. Where you see the top edge of the carpeting or floor covering, pull that back just a bit and use a flash light to check for the "notorious green" liquid. If the leak is bad enough, it may also be coming from the air conditioner duct work.
