Hi my ford F-150 4.9 L. Well it runs for a sec(5 min. Maybe) then RPM's drop then kick back up, well it does that a few times then it dies and cant get it started again for about 10-20 minutes.I've replaced--ignition control module---alternator(voltage regulator)---rebuilt the carb.---Coil---replaced fuses--fuel filter---fuel pump--checked for clogs in the fuel lines---I think thats it maybe one or two other things but if you could help me I'd be extatic.I think it has something to do with the electronic ignition but I don't know what thanks. Oh it's a stick

He is a quick check that Iv'e done. Have you check the fuel preesure coming form the fuel pump? Disconnect the fuel line at the carb, crank the engine over, and see how much fuel come out. (Use clean catch container) If the container rills up quickly, the pumps working. Hook everything back up and check to see if the carb squirts fuel into the carb by moving the linkage. If it does, try to start you r vehicle. If it doesn't start, pour a few ounces of fuel in the carb and try to start. If it does, you have a igntion/distributor problem. The TFI module (on the distibutor) you say was replaced, check your wiring for good connections. Hope this helps.
