About 6 weeks ago truck started missing. Took to local shop, they diagnosed as spark plug being bad. Replaced NGK plug with new one. Fine until today. Left to go on day trip. Engine light came on. Statred missing. We drove about 20 miles to get back home. Took to shop. They diagnosed as bad plug. Could not get out. Called local Ford dealer. Appt in morning. They said to replace it would be about $275.00. Is this reasonable? What is going on with plugs going bad at 70,000. Our Xmas trip is just about ruined. Please help.Thank you.
