power steering intermittently stops to work (steering wheel stiffens up but still operational) we want to flush the system can you help?

Good afternoon,
I attached the procedure for you below for the flushing. Make sure you use the correct fluid or you may damage the seals and cause a total loss of power steering.

You may have to do this several times to get rid of all the old contaminated fluid.
