there are numerous sensors that can cause the light to come on. this is not my area of expertise, but I have a haynes book and can help. the main reason I replyed is because you said the power came back! did you loose power brakes? I am no conserned if the ABS lights come on in my cars, ad in one it has been on and off for over a year, but I still have pwer brake just not anti lock. You will be fine if the ABS light is on and the brakes are not on anti lock, but loosing power brakes can be bad. usually the ABS light will flash when ther is a major problem. if they do pull over and get them fixed. if you wish to tackle this yourself i can offer what help i can. did you really loose power brakes?!

Lost power like the engine shut down?or lost electrical? I dont understand what you mean.If the ABS light was on, there should be a code stored in the computer to lead towards the cause of the light coming on
