2001 Ford F-150 fuel filter

I am having a problem with my truck. From time to time when I am in overdrive, my truck will cut out when I push on the gas. I want to change my fuel filter but can not find it. Can anyone help out.

Ford pickup fuel filters are normally located under the drivers side within the frame rail. It's a little hidden most of them are protected by a metal shield look for the largest steel line in the left side frame rail you should run into it unless it's in the tank
