When cold the transmission makes a sound that is hard to describe. When the truck warms up the sound usually goes away, but not always sometimes.I took it to a shop and the guy told me it needed to be rebuilt. It does not slip at all. Fact is I can come to a full stop and lay two lines of rubber on the street. I will admit the fluid and filter have never been changed. Is this all it needs or should I go with the rebuilding ?
