Recently hanged the heatercore on my 99' f-150. Besides unueing the a/c lines under the hood releasing all of the coolant everything went well. So I thought I started it up and it idles up an down. I give it gas and the rpm's drop. Why could I have done wrong?

Check spark plugs wells if full of coolant

Yes it went everywhere In the engine bay. I thought it could have gottan a few electrical components wet. I'll check the spark plug. I did disconnect the battery which later died left offshore and sat for three weeks so had to buy a new one. One more thing is there any truth to the myth that the cig lighter has smething to do with the computer or the way it idles? Becuase I did hook up the cig lighter back in after who knows how long. It was removed befor I bought the truck.
