1999 Ford F-150 Repair Question

1999 Ford F150 Coil On Plug
Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 178476 miles
Dave H. just identified the Coil On Plug for me. That is very helpful in the removal of the correct part, however I also see a (aluminum I believe) tube that may be blocking the COP, the tube connects to 4 other parts (fuel injectors I think) that go into the engine block. Do I need to remove the tube to get to the COP, or will that damage other parts?
