About 2 months ago the air conditioner began to stop blowing air through the dash vents when accelerating. The vents at the defroster level continue to sound like they are blowing air, but if it is, it is hot air. As long as no acceleration (no change in RPMs), it seems to work just fine. I have asked a couple of 'Ford guys' and they tell me the truck is just designed to to that! I have owned this truck since 1999 and have never experienced this problem until now.
My first question is if it is possible a hose is old and collapsing? I would really appreciate some input.
Thanx!
