Our 1998 F-150 refuses to start. It cranks but no fuel is being pumped to the engine. We replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump. It started and ran that day, then back to the same problem. When we check for fuel from the pump, it gives a quick spurt of fuel then the pump immediately shuts off. We have checked the fuel relay by replacing it with a similar relay that works, but the problem is still the same. Is there anything that would cut power to the fuel pump. Please help.
