Since the weather got cold (Chicago area), my truck has been sounding like an old man. The front end creaks loudly at the slightest bump, and the steering groans, louder when I turn to the left. Steering and suspension are working fine, steering fluid is clear and full. With the absence of grease fittings on this truck, is there anything you can suggest other than randomly replacing parts?

you have a seizing ball joint, tie rod etc. what you need to do is check all front end components to make sure they are not loose and what i do is poke holes in the rubber boots and use a needle attachment on my grease gun and apply grease to all the fittings and that takes care of the noise and prevents the front end from falling apart
