When my truck idols it starts to shake alil and occasionally stalls. I popped the hood and I can hear air leaking, I suspect its the vacuum hose and I think its under the intake manifold. Id like to know how do I replace it?

THere are no hoses under the intake. Are you sure it isn't the intake itself?

Yeah I traced the hose and im sure its under the intake, its the elbow of the hose that is suspect, it leads right into the intake. It looks a little weathered. Any advice on how to replace the hose would be great.

Is it the one that comes off the rear of the intake and then has a 90 degree bend?

That is becoming a very common problem on these vehicles as they get older. Basically, all you need to do is R&R the part. You will most likely want to get a new hose with the 90 in it. Otherwise, you may end up with a kink in the new hose.

Let me know if it works for you.
