Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Engine won't turn over. Had battery tested and test came back good

does vehicle crank and not start or doesnt crank at all. need to claify that because the term turn over refers to as the vehicle start but if it dont turn over it can still crank.

so get back to me and we can continue on

Vehicle doesn't start or crank. All I hear is a clicking noise. I thought it might be the syleniod switch under the hood, bought a new one but that wasn't the problem.

throw on some jumper cables and try to start it that way. not a big fan of battery tests because so many do them wrong. but aside from that try the jumper cables. if not get that starter off and have it tested may have a short int he windings. will motor turn by hand?
