1997 Ford F150 Rough idle, engine lopes
Engine Performance problem
1997 Ford F150 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 482000 miles
Engine idle is very rough and it lopes and sometimes it cuts out. I've replaced the plugs and wires and it still idles like crap . I connected a timing light to #1 cylinder and found that the spark cuts out and is the same for all the other cylinders when I checked them the same way. When I drive on the highway there are no problems it seems to run fine, but around town its a little rough. Could it be the coil pack or ignition module.....please help !!
