i recently just changed my motor due to a rod knock because of it hydrolocking(4.2L ) put in another same motor 4.2L motor runs really good except now it kind of acts as if it were running out of gas.. yet doesnt happen consistantly. i did use my original fuel injectors,fuel rail & regulator.. because it looked in better shape and never incountered this problem with original motor.. I have checked fuel filter and it was clean.. plugs,wires are all fairly new.. would my fuel pump be the cause??? before the engine swap never had a problem with it jerking like that.. please help.. thank you graciously for your time...
