hi, i just recently bought a 1997 ford f150 from a family friend and today when we put in a new battery the truck started just fine. we even got it to remote start from my remote alarm thing, but after doing this four times the truck wouldn't start even after using the key. we messed with the silinoid and it started just fine. it isn't the battery or the starter. my step dad said this had happened before with something electrical and it was something very simple but he forgot what it was.
