I went to get the inspection sticker today and my brake lights didnt work. The guy doing the inspection checked the fuse and replaced it. The lights worked but then the idk, the guy said master cylinder, anyway smoke was coming out so the guy took the fuse out and said i needed to get it checked out. Could you tell me whats wrong because my break lights were working properly but i was having to add fluid every couple of weeks.

Hi the fuse blowing and the brake fluid will be two different probs. he should have told you that. the brake fluid could be the master cylinder prob he was talking about. as far as the fuse blowing the prob is either the brake light switch or the wireing going to the lights or the wrong bulb installed
