i need to know how to get the serpentine belt off and take out the altenator

The belt tensioner is located on the passenger side of the vehicle and is slotted for a 1/2" or 3/8" rachet. simply loosen the tensioner and remove the belt. Remove the Alt from the top of the engine and install in reverse order.
