my truck's engine makes a pinging sound when I accelerate. I cleand the maf and it did it a little less. I started using 89 octaine gas and it still doese it. I have notice that it does it more when the weather is cold.Can you help me fix this problem.

check the pcv valve for proper workings and replace if possoble they r only 3.00 @ part store but first open hood rev engine nd see if it;s comingfrom the pcv located on the left or right valve cover
