MY FORD F-150 5.0 QUESTION IS THIS. MY OIL PRESSURE WILL BE IN THE NORMAL RANGE FOR A FEW MILES THEN ALL THE SUDDEN IT DROPS TO ZERO. THEN IT COMES BACK TO NORMAL PRESSURE. WHEN IT DROPS TO ZERO AFTER A SHORT TIME IT WILL START TO TICK, THEN THE PRESSURE MAY RETURN TO NORMAL. I WAS THINKING OIL PUMP OR BEARINGS UNLESS YOU CAN PUT ME IN A DIFFRENT DIRECTION. THANK YOU.

You'll need to pull the pan to look at the screen anyway, so you may as well at least do the pump while youre in there. If it was mine and I was keeping it, get the bearing inserts too...Pay attention how you take the cap off, they will go on either way, but you won't be able to turn the engine unless it's on right! Do one at a time!
