I have a 1995 Ford F150 4.9L V6 - The truck began having difficulties starting and finally would not start or run at all. Replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap, coil....to no avail. Was told to try the fuel pump. Replaced the fuel pump in my rear tank....the truck started up once and ran fantastic....took it to the gas station, for a drive etc...
The next morning went to leave for work and the truck would not start....noticed that the fuel pump stays on continuously with key in "start" position. Left the truck alone for a few hours, this time the pump did not stay on and the truck started and ran great again!!! An hour later.....guess what?! TRUCK WILL NOT START AGAIN....HELP, I AM ALREADY $400 INTO PARTS.......
