Two weeks ago my pollution sending line behind the catalytic converter broke causing C0 in the passenger compartment which I can fix. Also now that the weather is warmer here in the northeast my oil pressure has been dropping after a half hour or so of driving when the truck is in drive with the brake is being pressed and when my average drive to and from work is over I notice a couple drops of oil leaking on the front driver side. Is there a connection or are the two issues unrelated. Just starting to work again on a regular basis and trying to keep the old girl working. Appreciate any advice. Thanks

Hi there,

Any oil leak should be addressed, but this will not be the cause of the low oil pressure, this will be due to the fact that the bearings are worn cam & crank, and a worn oil pump, this engine is just wearing out, try using a thicker oil say 20W-50 mineral based, this may help.
