i replaced my oil sensor and stil have a high oil pressure indication on my ford 150 v8 5.8 winsor engine any ideas as to what might be causing the high pressure also ive changed the oil pressure is still high btw oil is at proper level

There is a pressure release on the oil pump, but if you are not getting disfigured or leaking oil filter, chances are the gauge is bad. Go to a nationally recognized parts store and rent a mechanical oil pressure gauge. Remove the oil sending unit and screw the mechanical one in. See what pressure it reads.
