1993 Ford F150 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

When I turn the key absolutely nothing happens, even the idiot lights do not light up. Brand new battery. Fuel gauge still registers so I have power there. Currently truck has 220000kms & sarter was replaced about 60000kms ago. Any ideas? Many thanks, Wayne
