I have what I think is a broken upper ignition acuator that is broke. Very low on cash and trying to fix this myself.
I have tilt steering and am hiaving trouble dismantling. I could use directions or a good schematic. I have the steering wheel pulled and every #$%%% screw and pin I can see removed but the upper shroud will not budge...
Looking for any help....Thanks

First, did you remove the dash cover? Makes it a lot easier.

Second, did you remove the lock cylinder and the gear inside of it?

Let me know and we'll go from there.

I have removed all plastic dash pieces and plastic column shrouds. I had the lock cylinder and gear out but seemed not to help. I can do it again.
When I did that I removed the small plate above the upper acuator thinking the actuator would slide out. "no go"
I have removed turn signal part, the 3 screws in upper shroud. I have removed the 2 hex head screws under the bottom shroud. I am perplexed.

Your response is very appreciated and important
