1988 Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive

Hello I have a 1988 ford f150 4x4 with a 351w engine that has thrown a rod. I have a 1988 302 engine I want to put inplace of the 351w will this work and what kind of issues will I have with the replacement. Thanks

First, we recommend direct fit replacements. It should work, but be prepared to have trouble with sensors not matching up, the motor mounts may need changed, vacuum lines will need changed and the wiring harness will be different. When you change anything, everything seems to change with it. That is why we recommend direct replacement parts.
