I have installed a new battery as well as a new alternator but running the truck still drains the battery and the battery light is still on. I even replaced both plugs to the alternator. On the bench test it says alternator is good but installed in the truck it reads bad... I'm at a lose please advise

On the fender right next to the battery, follow the positive cable to the starter solenoid, the smaller wires are fusible links, test them with a test light, replace the ones that dont light the light before and after the FUSE bump. If all test OK check/ replace the battery cables.
