I just purchased a well used truck but in good shape. Problem is both fuel gauges and the oil pressure (worries me) gauges are not operating properly. The fuel gauges seem to be erratic and bounce all over and the oil pressure reads low and is also not stable, not sure if it's true but I don't want to find out the hard way. Anybody seen anything similar or have any suggestions? I'm planning on checking the voltage regulator but I'm not sure where it is. Does anyone have a diagram or know the location?

Thanks in advance.

I recommend you check the oil pressure-remove it and hook up the pressure gauge and read off and give me the readings, just hope its the gauge calibration or wiring-if not we got engine problem-don't worry about the fuel gauge its an easy fix, the engine its a lot tougher and can get expensive.
